Payment Policy and Code of Conduct
Payment is required when services are provided, and we do not provide in-house payment arrangements.
For new clients, a refundable deposit equal to the exam fee of $97.25 is required at the time of booking. The deposit is nonrefundable if you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment.
Our no show policy: a no-show is a client who misses an appointment without cancelling it. Missed appointments will require prepayment of the exam fee when rescheduling. When this prepaid appointment is kept, the fee will be applied to the invoice. If the prepaid appointment is not kept, the fee will be forfeited. If you miss three appointments, we will terminate our veterinary-client-patient relationship.
Accepted form of payments: Cash, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Scratchpay, and Care Credit. We do not accept Personal Checks.
Care Credit:
The CareCredit credit card can be used for routine veterinary appointments, emergency pet care, or a variety of surgeries and treatments. It gives pet owners the peace of mind needed to care for pets. Please click the button below to apply.

Pet Insurance:
We encourage all owners to get pet insurance! Please note with pet insurance, you initially cover the vet expenses, then submit a claim for reimbursement. The only insurance that pays us directly is Trupanion. Please click the button below for more information.

For the safety of our patients, we also require calm and gentle handling of all pets within our facility.
Open Honesty: To provide the best medical care, we rely on you to be honest about your pet’s history, symptoms, and environment.
Collaboration: We view you as an essential part of your pet’s medical team. We ask that you follow through with agreed-upon treatment plans and reach out if you have questions or concerns.
Policy Compliance: We ask for your cooperation with our hospital policies regarding payments, deposits, and prescription refills. These are in place to ensure we can continue to provide high-quality care to all our patients.
Legal Boundaries (VCPR): To provide medical advice or prescriptions, we must maintain a legal Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship. This requires an in-person exam at least once every 12 months. We cannot bypass these legal requirements, as they ensure your pet’s safety and our medical compliance..
